Wordmark & identity system
A custom wordmark, mark, and a tight palette built around stage-light gradients. Designed for video, ad units, and stage signage equally.
For Epishow, we built the wordmark, the design system, and the Next.js + Sanity site behind it. The identity earns its keep on the page — not just in the deck.
Epishow had built a serious product for the live events industry. They had paying customers, a roadmap, and a position no one else was claiming. They also had a logo their CEO drew in Figma at 11pm two years ago.
The brand and the marketing site had become the ceiling. Investors squinted. Buyers second-guessed. The team kept apologizing.
The brief: a brand and web system that puts the product in front of the right buyers without an asterisk — and a build the in-house team can run after launch.
Design and engineering in one daily standup. That closes the gap where “the comp doesn’t match the live site” usually lives.
Tokens, components, and motion — durations, easings, stagger — ported 1:1 to code. Change a button and the whole site stays consistent on the next deploy.
Content modeled so marketing can ship a sector page or customer story without a developer, backed by a Loom library, written SOPs, and a Notion runbook.

Tokens, components, and patterns — ported 1:1 to code. The marketing site and the in-app surface use the same primitives.
App Router, edge-rendered, ISR-cached. Content modeled so marketing can ship a new sector page or a customer story without a developer.
Hero choreography, scroll-driven reveals, and a small interaction library — all spec’d so motion feels intentional, not decorative.
Stage and crowd shoots, set up to feed the Sanity library forever. Treatment guidelines so future shoots look like the same brand.
Loom library, written SOPs, and a Notion runbook. The internal team shipped a new page on day 14 with no help from us.
Most agencies hand the brand to a separate team to build. We don’t. The designer who picked the wordmark and the engineer who shipped the navigation were in the same standup every day.
That collapses the loop where “the comp doesn’t match the live site” usually lives. By week four we were shipping fully styled, fully interactive screens straight from the system.
The motion language was written into the design system — durations, easings, and stagger relationships defined at the token level. Marketing can change a button and the entire site is consistent the next deploy.

For the first time the site looked like the product. Sales stopped having to explain what we actually do.Founder — Epishow
