Building our own products keeps us honest.

Roster is one of six products in the GFW incubator — designed, named, and built in-house on the same AI-native stack we ship to clients. When we recommend an approach, it’s because we run it ourselves.

The thesis

Advice is cheap. Shipping is proof.

Every studio says it can take a product from zero to shipped. The incubator is how we prove it — six products, each one taken through the same journey we sell: positioning, identity, product design, and an AI-native build.

Roster sits in that portfolio alongside Vigyl, Epishow, and Brief Builder. Each product is a live testbed — the patterns that survive real users are the ones that show up in client work.

The point: when we say a stack, a workflow, or a launch pattern works, it’s because we’ve run it on our own money first.

What we recommended

The same calls we make for clients.

  1. Decision 01

Decide the position before any pixels.

Positioning and naming come first: the sentence the product has to win. Identity and design follow from it.

  2. Decision 02

Design around the job, not the feature list.

Flows and interface start from the job to be done. The identity stays lean, built to flex as the product finds its shape.

  3. Decision 03

    Instrument from launch day.

What users do feeds directly into what gets built next. The patterns that survive real users are the ones that reach client work.

What we built

Zero to shipped, the same way every time.

01

Positioning & naming

The sentence the product has to win, decided before any pixels.

02

Identity system

Logo, type, color, and voice — built lean, built to flex as the product finds its shape.

03

Product design

Flows and interface designed around the job to be done, not the feature list.

04

AI-native build

Shipped on the same modern, AI-assisted stack we use for client engagements.

05

Launch surface

A conversion-first site and the lifecycle basics from day one.

06

Feedback loop

Instrumented from launch — what users do feeds directly into what gets built next.

How it works

The incubator is our R&D department.

Every incubator product runs the full GFW playbook under real conditions. New tools, new models, and new workflow patterns get pressure-tested here before they ever touch a client system.

That flow runs both directions: what we learn shipping client systems makes the products better, and what the products teach us makes the client recommendations sharper.

The incubator is where we earn the right to give advice. If a pattern doesn’t survive our own products, it doesn’t reach a client.
